The Creek View Cougar Marching Band serves as the premier spirit organization on campus, representing the largest collective of student leaders and performers. Every student enrolled in the band program is a member of the marching ensemble, ensuring a unified culture of excellence and shared purpose.

The ensemble is a cornerstone of the school community, providing the musical backdrop for Friday night football games, fostering school spirit at pep rallies, and representing the district at various regional competitions. Through a rigorous schedule of music and movement, these students develop high-level discipline and artistry, consistently serving as ambassadors of pride and tradition for their school.

The Creek View Percussion Ensemble provides a dedicated space for percussionists to explore the vast and diverse world of battery and melodic percussion. This specialized program focuses on the technical mastery of a wide array of instruments, ranging from traditional keyboard mallets and timpani to contemporary world percussion and auxiliary effects.

During the concert season, the ensemble studies and performs literature specifically composed for percussion, allowing students to develop independent musicianship and intricate ensemble timing. By focusing on the unique challenges of touch, stroke, and timbre, the percussion ensemble helps students build a comprehensive foundation that enhances their performance in both the marching and concert settings. Through this rigorous curriculum, our percussionists emerge as versatile musicians capable of navigating the complex rhythmic landscapes of modern percussion music.

Following the conclusion of the marching season, the Creek View High School Band program transitions into its concert curriculum, featuring two premier performing ensembles: Symphonic Winds and the Concert Band.

These ensembles serve as the core of our musical foundation, offering a rigorous environment where students refine their technical proficiency, theoretical knowledge, and expressive artistry. By engaging with a diverse range of sophisticated repertoire, students develop a deep understanding of ensemble discipline and musical nuance.

As a new program, Creek View High School is dedicated to establishing a premier standard of performance from the outset. Both the Symphonic Winds and Concert Band are currently preparing for their inaugural regional evaluations, where they aim to set a benchmark of excellence for the future of the program.

The Color Guard is the premier visual ensemble of the Creek View High School Band, blending contemporary dance, athletic agility, and specialized equipment manipulation into a singular performing art. The program operates in two distinct phases, each offering unique opportunities for artistic development.

During the fall, the Color Guard serves as the visual heartbeat of the marching band. Through the synchronized use of flags, rifles, and sabres integrated with expansive choreography, the guard translates the musical score into a vivid, three-dimensional narrative. As a fundamental component of the marching ensemble, these performers are essential to the storytelling and visual identity of the program on the football field.

Following the marching season, the ensemble transitions to the Winter Guard circuit. This indoor season allows the guard to perform as a standalone entity. Set to recorded soundtracks within an intimate arena setting, Winter Guard emphasizes high-level theatricality and sophisticated movement. This season focuses on refined technical mastery and nuanced artistic expression as students combine modern dance with intricate equipment work to compete in regional indoor guard circuits.

Beyond learning traditional repertoire, students are encouraged to develop their individual musical voices through the study of improvisation and jazz theory. The ensemble serves as a high-profile performing group for the school, appearing at community events, local festivals, and concerts throughout the year. Through this program, musicians gain a versatile skill set that complements their classical training while celebrating the creativity and spontaneity inherent in jazz.
