Mr. William REgalis

Associate Director of Bands, Loma Alta Middle SChool

Mr. Regalis currently serves the Creek View Cougar Cluster as the Associate Director of Bands at Loma Alta Middle School. Mr. Regalis is from San Antonio, Texas where he graduated from John Paul Stevens High School in 2019. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Fall of 2023. During his time at UTSA, Mr. Regalis had the privilege of studying under Professor Ron Ellis, Dr. John Zarco, Dr. Steve Parker and Professor John Caputo. Mr. Regalis performed in several concert ensembles including the UTSA Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Trombone Choir and was a 4 year member of the Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band and Rowdy Roadrunner Pep Band. Mr. Regalis holds a Distinction in Performance Certificate from the UTSA School of Music in Bass Trombone Performance. 

Prior to the 2026-2027 school year, Mr. Regalis spent the first two years of his teaching career as the Assistant Band Director at Marble Falls Middle School. Mr. Regalis helped lead the Mustang Marching Band to their 1st ever 4A UIL Area D Marching Finalist and 4A UIL State Marching Band Advancement in school history. He helped prepare a program record of 18 students for the Region 29/32 ATSSB Honor/Concert Bands. He led the MS Jazz Band to a Superior performance at the St. Mary’s University Fiesta Jazz Festival, as well as led the MS Non-Varsity Band to the program’s 1st ever unanimous Sweepstakes Award at the annual UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation.

In his free time, Mr. Regalis enjoys watching the San Antonio Spurs, or any Football (college or professional). Mr. Regalis also loves to watch movies! He enjoys spending time with his two dogs, as well as spending time with family and friends!

Mr. Regalis’ professional affiliations include active memberships with Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmaster’s Association, The Association of Texas Small School Bands, North American Brass Band Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity.
